Josh’s service to Georgetown includes leadership roles on the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Historic and Architectural Review Commission, and the 2030 Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. He has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star by Super Lawyers and honored as Citizen of the Year by the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.

Over the past five years, he has helped Georgetown navigate unprecedented growth while staying true to its small-town character that makes Georgetown special.

Leading with Experience

Josh Schroeder is a lifelong Texan and proud resident of Georgetown. A husband, father, attorney, and civic leader, Josh brings deep knowledge of the community and a deep commitment to public service to the mayor’s office. He holds a B.A. with honors and a J.D. from the University of Texas and has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 2002. In his professional career, Josh is a shareholder at Sneed, Vine & Perry, P.C., where he focuses on business and real estate development, helping clients navigate complex transactions.
